Your Questions Answered

Everything You Need to Know About ISTA Encore

  • How long do I have access to a course if I buy it individually?

You’ll have lifetime access to the course in your ISTA Encore library—pay once and revisit it whenever you like.

  • What is the Encore Annual Subscription?

Our Encore Annual Subscription is designed to offer outstanding value by giving you unlimited access to all current and future courses for just £300 per year. With more titles released every year, it’s the best way to stay ahead of new content and enjoy the full Encore library while budgeting with a single annual payment.

  • I’m an ISTA member—how does this connect to my membership, and do I get a discount?

Currently, ISTA Encore access is separate from ISTA Membership. You’ll need to create a unique username and password for Encore. However, your Encore purchases will appear on your ISTA profile for easy reference. At this time, Encore courses and packages are not eligible for ISTA member discounts, which apply only to products sold through the ISTA Store (store.istaglobal.org).

  • Are Encore resources only suitable for International Baccalaureate programmes?

While our courses are perfect for supporting IB programmes, they’re also highly suitable for many other curricula, including AP, BTEC, A level, and a wide range of advanced theatre and arts syllabuses.

  • Will I receive a certificate once I complete the course?

Yes! Each course includes a personalised and ISTA-certified Encore Certificate of Completion, perfect for recognising your learning or adding to your professional development records.

  • Is the content of the courses aimed at teachers or students?

Both! Our courses are intentionally designed to support teachers and students alike. Teachers may wish to complete the courses themselves and then use the included lesson plans, presentation materials, and resources to teach their own classes. Alternatively, courses can be purchased by or for students who want to independently research and explore specific arts disciplines or approaches, providing flexible options to suit different learning needs.
