Everything You Need to Know About ISTA Encore
When you purchase a standalone course, you receive access for the duration of that course’s life span on the ISTA Encore platform. In most cases, this means you can revisit the course materials at any time while it remains available. However, ISTA may withdraw or retire a course if it becomes outdated, redundant, or no longer meets our educational or technical standards. Where reasonably possible, we will give advance notice and provide a reasonable window for you to complete the course before it is removed.
Your annual subscription gives you unlimited access to the full ISTA Encore library of on-demand courses, video workshops, and resources for as long as your subscription remains active. We regularly add new titles throughout the year and may remove older content as it reaches the end of its shelf life. Where we know in advance that a course will be retired (for example, due to curriculum updates or licensing restrictions), we will make reasonable efforts to indicate this in the course listing. Changes to the library during your subscription do not affect your subscription fee and do not entitle you to a refund or credit.
Currently, ISTA Encore access is separate from ISTA Membership. You’ll need to create a unique username and password for Encore. However, your Encore purchases will appear on your ISTA profile for easy reference. At this time, Encore courses and packages are not eligible for ISTA member discounts, which apply only to products sold through the ISTA Store (store.istaglobal.org).
While our courses are perfect for supporting IB programmes, they’re also highly suitable for many other curricula, including AP, BTEC, A level, and a wide range of advanced theatre and arts syllabuses.

Teachers may wish to complete the courses themselves and then use the included lesson plans, presentation materials, and resources to teach their own classes. Alternatively, courses can be purchased by or for students who want to independently research and explore specific arts disciplines or approaches, providing flexible options to suit different learning needs.
